Instead of routing the hose like most do (red), is there any reason why I shouldnt just cut the line around green? Also what is the blue circled? Can it be removed? Tryin to clean up the engine bay as much as I can while my car is torn apart. Thanks guys.

That line at green is the fuel feed and return line. DO NOT cut it! The area in the blue is the fuel filter assembly it can be removed and you can add an inline fuel filter. As for red, you can remove that with the evap canister and all the components to the evap system.

Ok so I got to lookin in the car the place where my egr would have been is replaced with a solenoid type thing with hoses going to the AC. I live in Ga, cant give that up. Did some diggin the 99's have the evap in the back, so just gonna leave it until I break down and by megasquirt.
PS-My green X was off centered Gruff haha. Was going to follow the Evap line to that location and cut it.
