I have 175,000 miles and my head gasket is leaking pretty fierce. I am not that mechanically inclined and I won't do the project myself if I don't have a guide to follow. Is there a step-by-step guide to doing the head gasket on a 420a? I cannot find one. I will also be doing the timing belt so any help there would be great.

I may leave these jobs to the professionals but would rather do them myself if possible.

Get a Haynes manual or mechanics repair manual and thats everything you need.
