#13690, "stay tuned for more pocketlogger data"

It's late now, I have to work, so I don't have time to type out the 10 pages of data I got from my datalogger today.

Here's the short version. It will give you something to chew on until I get some numbers and more details to everyone. Let me know what you think, becasue I'm going to need help figuring out what's going on here.

For some reason in second gear, I was leaning out at around 4300 rpms. The O2 voltage even dropped a bit on all zeros setting across the rpm range with the SAFC (a little bit, not enough to make a huge difference), but it was a large drop when I leaned it out. I left it at 0 at 4.5K rpms and leaned it above and below that point, which seemed to correct the problem. I have no idea why it was doing this. My other runs were logging ABOVE this rpm (at something like 4800 and up), so I didn't see it before. Has anyone else noticed the car leaning out around 4300 rpms???

Also, the timing was pullng back a tiny bit at 4300, both with the safc set to zero and with it leaned out, probably due to the lean condition.

I'll get the numbers and better details tomorrow, err I mean much much later today (heh heh, it's bed time)

But, it seems from 5K to 6K in third gear I was getting a good 0.88V with 5K set to -7 and 6K set to -9 or -10.

Hey Todd, weird problem leaning out. Did it happen more than once? Or just a one time run thing?

For some reason, my car also leans out in first gear only, somewhere in between 3500 to 4000 rpms. The a/f ratio will dip down to about 0.6-0.7 for a split second, then jump back up to 0.9 (on a cyberdyne gauge so I can't know exact). Any ideas?

it happened more than once, at about 4300 rpms, and sometimes the O2 voltage dropped a bit, other times alot.

check the other post for the data

Hey Todd, next time at the track tro removing the 4500rpm spot on the AFC. Just run 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, no 4.5, see if this is something the AFC is doing.
