Wondering if anyone who installed an amm intake manifold kept their cruise or not. I tried the 'old Bi-Mart bicycle cable kit, but it makes the gas pedal feel really stiff and isn't smooth at all. It catches like crazy. Anyway, if anyone kept their cruise, show what you did. I'm probably going to go to the salvage yard and see what cables I can find and rig something up...

I kept my cruise cable for awhile, but only because I didn't want to buy a non cruise. Let me tell you the non cruise cable is amazing, but if you are as stubborn as I was, let me find you my installation thread and you can see what I did.

i was able to keep mine. i had to make a spacer for the box were the cable pulley is(not sure what to call it)so it not mounted at an angle from the firewall to clear the end of the intake mani. when i tightened it down it still rest on the end of the mani but its on there. i plan on figuring out a better way but just havnt had time yet
