I have a problem with my 95 gs. To turn on the car you have to crank it for like 8 seconds for it to start. When I’m riding it runs well but when I stop the car idles at 4000 rpm for 3 seconds then it comes down to 2500 rpm, after a while riding the car the lights on the dash flashes and the car tries to die if you don’t press the accelerator quickly it dies and sometimes even if you press the accelerator it dies then I have to start cranking and cranking until it turns on again. Could anyone help me to identify my problem?
The car has new msd coil and cables, new map sensor, new iac valve and new fuel pump. Also I had it scanned and the two codes that it gave out were iac valve and intake temperature sensor. I already replaced the iac valve. Excuse me for orthographic errors English isn’t my primary language.

Sounds like a nasty vac leak. Try looking for leaks first.

Today the car just fried up the new iac valve and it started idling at 4000 rpm again. Could a vacum leak make the lights on the dash flash and then make the car shut down? Also could a vacum leak damage the new iac valve that was installed?

I found two little pipes on the intake manifold that are sucking air. Tomorrow I am going to replace the iac valve again and blocke these little pipes to see if the car makes a good idle

Anything sucking in air after the TB will cause a high idle. If there is enough air getting sucked in than the IAC can not compensate for it. I would fix all the leaks first before replacing the IAC

I am going to block off all the pipes on the intake manifold and check if there is any other place where the car could be sucking air from. Then i will replace the IAC valve once again and check if the problem is resolved. Thanks
