Okay, I just installed my clean amm intake manifold, no oil on the manifold.. I have a catch can for my pcv, zero oil in the line going to vacuum on my im. I pulled off my throttle body to installed the proper jeep tip on my iac motor, and there was oil in the manifold..... Where is it coming from? There's literally maybe 20 minutes of idle time on the motor with that intake manifold on it. The oil is def not coming from the pcv catch can, I checked. Edit: the only thing I can think is there might have been a little oil in some vacuum lines from the previous manifold I had on? idk?

Exactly, that's why I'm so confused.... I looking in the pcv line coming into the intake manifold and there's zero oil residue.. The line is completely dry on the inside.. Makes no sense to me at all..

Is your car turbo charged?
If so, the oil seals in the turbo could be weeping oil into the intake track. (Plugged or to small return line, to high oil psi, bad bearngs...not good)
Is it oil or is it carbon tracking from the egr system?
A candle burning on both ends is twice as bright but lasts half as long.

Yes, I'm turbo and was thinking the same thing, but zero oil in the pipes too. No oil in the or on the tb either. Also, I have the egr blocked. Oil return is good too. It's definitely oil in the intake. I'm stumped....

Clean the manifold and put it back on and drive around. Then see if your still getting it. might of been a one time thing were you just so happened to have some oil in the line

Got it all cleaned out, I'm thinking it had to be in some of the vac lines before because there's absolutely nowhere that could be leaking oil into it. I'm going to check the lines to the cruise etc to see if there's any residue. If there's none, I am completely baffled. I figured some got through my catch can, but like I said, the line was a dry as could be lol. I think my wife is fucking with me...
