So, I had a jeep aic tip from one of my past builds and I thought that's what I used on my new jeep throttle body I modded... Now, I have a few aic motors lying around and two of the tips of them look very different. My question is, did our 2gnts come with different styles of aic motor tips? Or does the picture of the bigger tip actually a jeep tip on a 2gnt iac motor. I have a jeep tb on my car and when I let off the gas, it wants to rev and will hang really badly until I come to a complete stop.. like 3k rpm... Then return to normal once completely stopped. The car idles well, but once I start driving, it revs when changing gears.... The tip I have on the iac motor in my car is the one of the right, is that the right one? Or is the jeep one bigger than that? I'm confused lol.

At least my way of difference the tips is that the "bolt part" in the 420a tip is shorter than the Jeep one and the spring on the jeep is stronger that the 420a one
for the rest of the sensor (in my case) the connector points to one side when installed in the TB and the connector on the Jeep´s one points Up or Down
BTW the one in the left is just like my stock 420a sensor the one on the right doesn't looks like mine one and doesn't looks like a jeep one

I can confirm that both of those aic motors came off of 420a's... I have two the of the ones on the right that I've pulled off of 2gnt's and like three of the ones on the left. You guys think I would have an idle problem with the one on the right in a jeep tb? I can also confirm that my tps is working normal, so it's not that.

I have the one on the left with the jeep tip on it and haven't had any idle problems
(I also tried for a few days the OEM 420a on the jeep TB and had the same problems that you have and later made the experiment of using the OEM IAC with the AFX ECU and the idle was fine but I got the CEL on)
I had it with stock ecu and AFX and no problems
just be sure that you use the jeep tip and spring with the 420a sensor
I leaved the tip the longest it could be to fit inside the jeep TB
and the TPS just install the 420a like he is

i am having similar issues. from time to time it revs high in between shifts, but mainly it is when i am coming to a stop and have the car in neutral, the idle hangs around 1500-2000 rpm and wont come down till i stop completely. often it wont come down at all and idles around 1200-1500. could i have a bad iac?
