#136501, "camshaft/rollers caps and bolts?"

Ok, So I have a question for those who have built a 420a engine. I am in the process of tearing one down as we speak, and I was wandering if the cam caps/bolts and rollers need to go back in the exact location they came from, cause I need to clean them?

Caps yes, bolts not so much.

Rockers do not matter on reassembly.

Yep, no problem. Also, on the tops of the caps you will see them numbered and lettered emoji

Yeah, I just noticed that. I couldn't see the stamps earlier cause the caps were so dirty and oily.. Also when I pulled the head. I knew the headgasket was blown (it was the original paper element one) but instead I found it wasnt seated to the block fully and corrosion got between the block and gasket!.. Ever heard of hat one?
