#13635, "Fuel Leak!!!"

ok.. i had a really bad thing happen today.. i was trying to take out my carpet and was removing my cross-overs that had been installed by Moble one almost a year ago.. well they hadnt been touched since they were installed.. well they had been installed under my passenger seat and had screws that went right through the body.. well as i was taking out one and.. out comes liquid about 1ft high.. at first i was like, what the hell was that. well it was fuel.. and it went all over my carpet.. i put the screw back in to try and stop it.. it sorta worked.. but still there is a hole in the fuel line.. i have no idea whether its a return or feed line.. i have a 95 so it could be a return line.. but there are 5 lines that run under there.. all hard lines.. the one that has a hole is the middle one.. Thura and I went ahead and got some sort of gas tank sealer/epoxy stuff and managed to stop the leak for now. but i am really mad due to the fact that this audio shop screwed right into my fuel line.. there was another screw that came really close to another line.. but my main question is what line is that if anyone knows.. im going to see about getting compensation from this event and money back from that instalation. i have to wait till i can talk to a manager on tuesday and luckly i work for a lawfirm so i can put a little leverage on my end. but this really pisses me off, because my car is not drivable. they will pay.. oh they will pay.. also might as well try to get some extra money towards cool things for my car.. emoji

Hey get some physical and mental damages ... who knows what inhaling those damn fumes for that hour+ we were working on the car will do. Plus I think all the skin on my right arm is gonna fall off in the morning .... emoji Damn I got a nasty headache. I just hope that epoxy crap holds till you can get mobile 1 to pay for COMPLETELY fixing your fuel system and give you all your money back for that POS install they did.

Ugh ... I'm gonna take some asprin.

if fuel sprayed out it is the supply line, the return line is not pressurized. the supply line is a little bigger than all the other lines, i believe forom the outside to the inside it goes brake, brake, return, and supply.

Five lines on the bottom of the car ... it was the one in the middle. It was definitely fuel ... I got highly flammable clothes that are proof of that.

man.. this is beginning to make me mad.. trying to call the dealership serveral times and they wont call me back so i can try and give me a quote on repairs.. try another one and the lady i talk to is retarded... call a mechanic that my mom uses and he helps out some by giving me a guestimate on cost and time for repair, but yet replaceing a fuel line seems to be an enigma to most people... not to menchen i still have to wait till tomorrow before i can find out what Mobile One will be able to do for reimbursing me for the repairs and anguish. my car is a fire hazard now.. and i will not bring it to anyone till i know what will be done. Man oh man Mobile One will pay for this, unfortunate "accident" or they will suffer.
