I am in the middle of a rebuild and I broke the timing cover dose anyone know where I can locate one? I saw on Ci motorsports web site they have the part listed but, that page is out of order... also I was looking on Ebay for the crank UDP and it says its for the 420A but, for the DOHC Neon dose that make a difference?? thanks fellas

Yes, 420a DOHC Neon does make a difference. Search, as the UDP topic is fully covered. As far as the outer timing cover, go to a junkyard, or buy a new one from the dealer.

You could also check out MIller Import Parts and see if he has one lying around.

Ok I found the timing cover.. but, I have searched up and down on google and this board and cannot find an AF/X pulley to save my life and, some of the threads I did find are suggesting AF/X has stopped selling them. UR has them no longer listed on their site those were the only 2 I could find that were aftermarket. any other Idea's?

As far as I know nobody makes an aftermarket crank pulley anymore.

unless you use the MPx one, but there is a belt conversion needed, I am pretty sure there is more information on that somewhere on here

Information can be found at maperformance.com. There's a newer lighter version of their old Mpx udp. If you found an older one on ebay, compare it to their description on their site.

That is not a UDP per se, - that is an ATI damper.

Technically Dave, it is an UDPD, (underdrive puller damper) for it does provide some underdrive, as well as weight reduction. As far the the dampening affects are concerned... thats another story. The I4 is a harsh engine, but they have proven to be durable up to what people have thrown them against, as long as they have a good balance. I like the idea, just not the price tag and the weight (granted it is lighter than stock)
