Recently I had problems with Idle, so I checked the basic and found that the CPS is broken, I order one, and included the pigtail. So went ahead to make the cuts and splice, etc. Installed the new CPS, but after a few minutes the RPM start going all over the place, and finally the cars shuts down. I can't start it up again until a few minutes pass by.
When I exchanged the pigtail I put the cables in the same order, taking the connector's "hook" as a reference point.
How can I know if I did the right way but something else is wrong.

I am confused by your wording. Are you looking for an upgrade?
What does his mean: " How can I know if I did the right way but something else is wrong."
