Originally posted by Star Turbo Talon That the retainers themself are basically the same with the same degree lock? And AGAIN, no new information there, its about the KEEPERS.
Originally posted by Star Turbo Talon That the only difference is the locks grooving and the the locks are not stronger than the 420A locks? Not true. Another difference is the interior angle is slightly different. So that if someone WAS to buy these and get them installed on their head (which is possible), they would soon find out that springs would pop and damage would probably ensue. But of course you want them to just buy them of jackass Jon and his barrel of stories.
Originally posted by Star Turbo TalonI have yet to see a crew chief order a set of retainers for a specific model nascar or a midget. Yeah, because the general public/members run Nascar level vehicles, lol. Know your audience and know their level of understanding. The far majority of people out here are not going to measure each of their parts, run through a listing of sizes of parts and then go off and get those sizes from their distributors and look to order off the sizes they need. They are going to order what the seller says will fit. The expectation is the seller is reperesenting the correct information.
Originally posted by Star Turbo Talonfor once DSM graveyard is actually right and 2GNT is incorrect. On the contrary, again Jon the liar is wrong. It is not an application for a 2.0 engine. Sell it all you want, but when you purchase a part that says it is for a specific vehicle, it damn well better either go on that vehicle as intended, or make mention of the differences in keepers (before someone buys them, puts them on by squashing their keepers in there and the springs come bouncing off).
Originally posted by Star Turbo Talon Sometimes Mark I dont understand you, this concept is something I am sure you have used back in your hayday yet today you limit yourself based on ordering parts by vehicle.
Lol, yeah, keep throwing that shit on the wall and see if it sticks. Ain't gonna happen. I've got Mitsubishi (1st, 2nd, and 3rd gen), Chrysler, Honda, Ford, Audi, VW, 4g63 etc. parts on my car. Nah, I'm not going further than that. Like I said, ain't gonna stick.
