#135902, "420A-T fuel pump rewire"

I found alot of info on how to do the rewire for a 4g63 but nothing for 420A.I was also told not to use the diagrams for gs-t or spyder to rewire a 420A-T.Is there any diagrams to do the rewire on a 420A?

I know there are several guys on eBay who have re-wire kits. I am assuming they come with some sort of documentation.

Pick up some 8 or 10 gauge wire rated for automotive environments, a automotive relay, and fuse assembly and use the factory fuel pump relay to trigger the coil circuit. All fuel pump rewires are the same, the only part you need to use common sense is what pins you are using.

You need to search:

I have everything I need to do the rewire. The only thing I couldnt understand was the 5th prong in the center of the relay. So I just dont use that prong? So its OK to hook it up just like you would on a gs-t?I asked the guy whom made the diagrams on how to do a rewire on a gs-t or spyder, if it was the same for the 420A and he said absolutely NOT!He confused the shit out of me.Well,my battery is in the trunk so it should make it easier.

Pin 87A on an automotive relay is for N/C connections, and when energized it opens the circuit.

On the second link I provided you, there is clearly an 87A pin in the middle. As I mentioned it is for normally closed (N/C) circuits.

I do not know how to make it any more basic than the Wiki article I linked you. What more is there to explain?

The diagram is real easy if I had a 4 prong relay.I thought someone would give me a simple answer about the 5th prong on my relay.instead of making me read for an hour. Thanks for trying to help
