#135884, "Fuel Pump Question 2GT"

My cousin is a former 2GNT'er that upgraded to a TSi AWD. I was going through the garage and we have a lot of the tune up parts I need for my current build between belts and hoses. I just did a Headers and Catback install and w/ the CAI its performing quite nice; I think w/ the 60mm Jeep TB + port matched IM it'll be even nicer.

I've used the search function repeatedly for this and I cant seem to find a solid answer. Can I use a stock Fuel Pump w/ Injectors from the TSi AWD or is it not compatible? So far Ive gone w/ eBay parts and things I had from my last build but never got up to fuel pumps on my build. Thanks In advance.

The injectors for a 4G powered car are low-impedance, vs the high-impedance ones that came stock on your 420a.

Can you use them? Yes, but you'll need to wire in resistors.

Now, without any sort of tuning, the car is going to run like total ass.

Those 450 injectors are too big for your all motor. Maybe if you had a turbo

Can I use the Fuel pump though? I am going to be using Megasquirt. Eventually I would like to install a Hahn Stage 2 kit but thats up in the air as of right now.

You should just go with a newer more reliable pump like the walbro 255. The stock ones arent all that great

For all motor would the Wally 190 be sufficient?

Depends on your HP goals and injector size. I always recommend the 255 since its about the same price.

Stock pump has worked fine for me so far, but I do plan on upgrading as I near the 200hp mark
