#135642, "Brian Crower srt-4 valve springs in the 420a head?"

I bought a set of the brian crower spings and retainers for the srt-4 and things do not look right. I saw that on the modern performance website that the srt-4 springs and retainers us the same part number so I bought a set from rsp little cheaper for the then modern. I got them to day the keepers (420a) do not look like they work with the retains. I am including a picture in this as well and maybe I am just looking at it wrong or something to the that affect. Can some one tell me if they should look like this or will it not work?

Finish? What is this "finish" you speak of sir? Dsm's are never complete just temporarily put together.

I believe the seat angle is different between the SRT4 keepers and the Eclipse keepers, aside from the single/triple groove differences.

Is there a reason you went with Srt4 Retainers? Vs the BC/Crower Ti, or other Retainers available for the 420a Head?

you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest, honestly, its the honest ones you need to look out for. you never know when they will do something..stupid

^This.

Part numbers be damned, the retainers are different.

I bought it because it was the same part number for the 420a and the srt-4. The part I was looking at was just crower springs with the TI retainers not the brian crower set but it should all be made the same.

So dumb question but running them not seated will cause damage correct?
