I emailed Howell Automotive about a bottom end kit for my Prelude, and got a good response. They told me to get ahold of them, and they would see what they could put together. Since I will be running nitrous starting this summer, I would eventually want to run a higher shot, and was wondering how much more nitrous you 420a guys can run after installing the kit? I know there are more things needed that arent included with the kit for a complete rebuild, but this would take care of a good portion of it. I am going to thank you guys, cause if I had never been to this site, I wouldnt know about the Howell bottom end kit. THANKS.

*cough* supercharger *cough cough*
i wish i knew more about nitrous.. but i'm guessing the idea is still the same.. with more air, you'll have to tweak your fuel management too, but i don't think there should be much problems after you rebuild the engine. You should be able to run the shot up pretty high, especially since it's not going to be in a daily driver situation.

Supercharger? I hope your not suggesting I buy the Jackson Racing supercharger for the Lude, cause in my eyes, its a waste of money. For the price of the supercharger alone, I could have a stage 2 Turbo kit, and have about 50 more HP. I am all about NOS though, and will most likely end up running the DP Fogger system, would like to run a crazy amount at the tracks, but not sure just how much I could run. I dont know for sure how much a complete rebuild of the engine will cost me, but if I do the research a head of time, I should be able to find good prices and get what I am looking for. My goal is to run 11's on street tires and 10's on slicks (even if its 10.99999).

I can't argue with dyno numbers and I have also seen this car in person and it's fast right off the line and ALL through the power band. Just imagine 8 psi and/or small shot of nitrous on top of that.

I dont think those are good numbers at all for the money invested, the JRSC cost over 3k, and is limited to how much psi you can push. For the same price, I could be running 125shots of nitrous on some beefed up internals, and have about 300whp, and run low 13's to high 12's in the 1/4. Another good thing about nitrous over SC is that I can run high compression pistons, I plan to run 11.5:1 pistons, which will result in some wicked HP gains.
