#135315, "major oil leak problem"

Just had a fresh rebuild and had an oil leak. Looked like it was at the discharge port on the pump. Ripped all that apart redid the gasket/ sealant, and still have leak. Not nearly as bad as it was with the first leak, which streamed out. Now I have a drip around the same area when running. Thinking it's possibly the crankshaft seal on the pump, because I reused the same one. Sorry to seem to waste anyones time, but just don't want to rip off pulleys and an oil pan if someone knows what else could cause a leak down there.

You have the oil pump discharge o-ring in place, correct?

Hey bud, re-read your first post, and to my knowledge you will find your answer.

We do NOT reuse gaskets nor seals, because usually, the do NOT reseal. Get a new OP/Front Crank Seal on her. Sorry you have to rip your timing apart again, but save you $$$ & be patient to do things RIGHT, with NEW parts.

Trust me man, I've been going through a rebuild for a year now, & I know no chance in hell, I'm gonna let any stupid seal leak & keep me from getting my Talon back. If its gonna need something first, then Fix it first, then run. Simple.
