So, anyone do the 2.4 swap and still have a/c? Or are we not able to run the a/c with the 2.4? I almost have everything I need to start really getting into the swap, but I don't know if I'm ready to give up my a/c just yet......

I "THINK, there is a way to retain A/C on the 2.4 swap. You have P/S still going or no?

Okay, Simply just by what I know from the 2.4 & belt/alternator belt line up. Basically it goes like this, since the Crank Pulley on the 2.4 Sits a 1/4 Inch farther out of the bay, you have to make up this 1/4 inch of space with washers to mount an alternator to line up with the Crank Pulley.

NOW, since the actually A/C Compressor sits on its own unique bracket, based on what I have seen with the 2.0's & 2.4's, they mount the Compressor the same way we do. Though I don't know if the Bracket from your 2.0 will match up, its almost the same block, some things are damn near close to the same. See what I'm saying here, Give it a shot by simply trying to line the bracket up first on the 2.4 block, If you can safely & securely get a bracket mounted up to her, then throw on the 2.0 Compressor or 2.4, I believe they are they same unit, everything lines up?

Then the least of our worries is the last 1/4 inch of space, which I don't think will be too much of an issue, Pulley extension is easy. But getting a whole new unit to fit/match & operate is a wholenother can of worms.

So In this order I would try it man, I don't know if anyone has it or not, but its worth the extra 10 minutes it takes to look things over. Get both brackets handy, 2.0 & the 2.4, see which one will mount up to the Block, if so, see if the Compressor still lines up with the brackets. If so? I think you know the next part, source a Last Pulley to swap out the Fan Clutch on the Compressor with. Honestly, when routing belts, or "Making things work", 1/4 inch isn't much of a playground to make up, can be done with washers usually, just not in this case due to the Fan Clutch built into the Pulley.

Lets see how it turns out just mounting & whatnot first. Trial and Error my friend, just don't break it & you'll be fine. I don't think you will break it, but who knows.

i used the pt cruiser alt bracket with my swap, mated with an afx udp, and that worked just fine.

No bracket exists to mount the 2.0L 2GNT style compressor to the EDZ.

I used the PT/SRT power steering / side motor mount bracket and SRT tensioner accessory belt tensioner, which mounts to the SRT AC bracket. The holes do not line up to mount the 2.0 compressor to it, and the SRT4 compressor is spaced nearly an inch further out. The belts will not line up.

One thing I considered and never did was machining an adapter to bolt to the bracket which contained properly spaced holes for the 2.0L compressor. Some 3/8" plate, a drill, and a tap set could knock one out in short order.
