#134688, "Clutch slave cylinder for 420a "

I see this Slave cylinder on ebay. I have been looking around for one for a couple days now. I have been searching and found that people have had problems with recieving the wrong slave. The people on ebay say it fits the GS and RS. I just want to see if you guys will think it will fit. I am not sure if the turbo slave cylinder and the non turbo slave cylinder are the same.

This is the link to the slave cylinder on ebay:

looks like it, why not just go pick one up from the parts store?

Everyone says not to get it from there. I also have a friend that bought one from both Autozone and Advanced and they did not fit. They are also a little more pricey there. I think i'm going to try that one on ebay, they accept returns. So if it does not fit then I can return it. Do you know if the 4g63 slave and the 420a slave are the same?

I bought one from Autozone last year and haven't had an issue with it emoji

Chances are they got one for the turbo model and not the 420a. Go to Advance or Autozone and tell them you need a slave cylinder for a Eclipse RS/GS NON TURBO (specify your year as well since they have to lookup by year too), they should be able to figure it out from there.

I got one from autozone... the bleeder is on the opposite side than the original. Is it going to get in the way or something?

So by your logic, eBay parts are better than your local parts store?

Go to Rockauto.com and order a known aftermarket brand such as Sachs, ACDelco, or Dorman if you are concerned.

EDIT: Hah! Brute Power 360007 is for the 4g63 models. So even your trusted eBay vendor has their catalog messed up.

No. The local store I have had problems with not getting the right part. I am going to try the autozone first. I don't think it will be the right part, but it's worth a try.

Why not do your own research and find the correct part number before trusting the guy behind the counter to give you the right part?

That does not answer my question. Doing your own research means referencing available online catalogs from parts manufacturers and any parts vendors to compare part numbers - not asking a question and expect someone to answer it.

Use common sense and check to see if the part is listed for other Mopar applications. Chances are if the part you are looking at crosses to Mirages, Summits, Colts, or other Mitsu badged motors, it probably will not fit your NV-T350.

I dont know how far you are but if it helps if you get the ebay one for the 420, your crossmember is crushing the release valve :/

Nope, they are not the same. This type of question has been up brought on tuners often from new 2gnt owners.

Try source one from junkyard or millerimports.com do bench bleed test if its good. if theres leaks use it as core from local parts store

Well just to keep you guys updated I bought a slave cylinder from autozone and i specifically said non turbo and he said ok. When i get home and look, the bleeder is on the wrong side and i go to put it on and the bleeder scraps against the crossmember. Also the slave rod is a different size than the stock. So autozones database says that the 4g63 and 420a are the same slave. Also one of the reviews on the slave says that theirs also didnt fit. So when going to autozone be prepared to go with the part number because they WILL give you the wrong one. And I do not think it is just my autozone, I think it is all of them.
