#133840, "MSD Coil Pack PN 8239 wrong?"

i was looking on MSD's site and loaded the PDF for the instructions on the coil for the 420a. I scrolled down and saw that the diagram was WRONG.

http://www.msdignition.com/instructions/Products/Coils/8239.pdf?terms=8239

It shows that coil power is going into the far right terminal, and the two grounds are next to each other (one in the middle, one far left). everything i have read and been taught says that the middle wire is power and the left/right terminals are for ground.

can anyone explain? thanks in advance

So it might be wrong. Would not be the first time. Check the FSM and compare to the electrical diagram.

you're correct, they're mistaken. see this (this is correct): http://download.telematica.gr/MSD/6212.pdf (pg. 12, figure 8)

middle wire = power
outer wires are for each coil
