Search. There are plenty of threads regarding 2.4 swap details & what is required.

ok, im still at a wall here.. ive been all over Neons and msextra, and they havent been so helpful since this isnt a controlled by the stock pcm.. but i have some info, mostly from dave, Thanx in advance dave, since youll prolly be the one to help... so

heres my setup now,
2.0 seq
Inj 1- cyl 1 inj 2- cyl 3 inj 3- cyl4 inj 4- cyl 2.

dave said:" you rotate the firing order forward a cylinder."

so would that mean i take the injector pigtais from above set up to

Inj2-cyl 1 inj3-cyl 3 inj4-cyl 4 inj 1-cyl 2 ?

i think ive over thought this so much it hurts to look at.. again thx for any help .. im getting down to the wire here.

you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest, honestly, its the honest ones you need to look out for. you never know when they will do something..stupid

Nope.

Obviously the firing order for both motors is 1-3-4-2. For sequential wiring in the MS application, we use as you stated:

Inj A - Cyl 1
Inj B - Cyl 3
Inj C - Cyl 4
Inj D - Cyl 2

... since the MS only fires the injectors in numerical order from its standpoint.

In a 2.4 swap (regardless of ECU used) the injector pigtails are swapped or the ECU is re-pinned so that:

Inj 1 - Inj 3
Inj 3 - Inj 4
Inj 4 - Inj 2
Inj 2 - Inj 1

The firing order remains 1-3-4-2, but it compensates for the trigger wheel machined into the EDZ crankshaft counterweight being different than the 420a crankshaft counterweight.

So using both of those swap diagrams to gain a sequential injection on the 2.4:

Inj A - Cyl 3
Inj B - Cyl 4
Inj C - Cyl 2
Inj D - Cyl 1

The firing order remains the same, however it is using the correct sequence based on the EDZ crank trigger.
