Ok. I have searched and searched and searched and I'm not coming up with what exacly I'm looking for. I am getting the infamous blinking CEL. So I scaned the code and I got exactly what I thought it was. I replaced everything that I thought would be causing it. Plugs, wires, coil and even changed out a brand new cam sensor. I'm still getting the code. (After clearing codes) The car runs fine. Not missing or bad idle or anything. No stalling or power surge. Thats whats confusing me. I heard a clatter at one point and just thought it was bad gas but thats not it because I got it again after two tanks. So I run a data log and found something that makes me wonder. By the way, right now there are right at 5000 miles on the engine. I was breaking in the motor befor I put the turbo on. I went ahead and put on the FCD but thats it. So right now its N/A Need to knows: Stock fuel set up (for now),3 angle valve job, gasket match port, TB port to 55mm, 9.5:1 JE pistons, Eagle rods, stock crank,gasket matched stock IM, and stock cams. Data Log (A point that I thought was important) LC-1 O2 14.5 AFR RPM 2090 TP 16% Spark Advance 39.9deg. Temp 115deg f Map 7.38 in Hg Speed 10 MPH Load PCT 11%
Now the question is, does the spark advance look high? I'm not exactly sure it should be that high. Is that whats causeing the clatter? What do you think is causing it to advance that high? And last but not least, whats causing the misfire? I read here that the TP sensor "could" cause the misfire but didn't see that alot in here. I'm in the dark here guys. I'm ready to put the turbo on but want and need to fix this problem befor I do. Any thoughts?

If you were in a high-vacuum cruise situation on that data point, yes, timing will be that high. That's normal.

I don't think that's the case. If you'll see the data log it states the I was running at 16% thottle, 2090 RPM's and 10 miles an hour. Which indicates that I had just taken off in 1st gear from a stop sigh which is where the clatter or detonation or labor knock happened.

How old is your knock sensor?

Did you torque it to spec? Over-torquing the knock sensor can make it pick up things it shouldn't.
