MLS head gasket kit: ~$60
Head bolt set: ~$20
Head resurfacing: varies by shop
Valves (if you need them): varies ~$20 (used) $200+ new performance
Cams (if you need them): varies
lifters and rockers: varies

Assembling the whole thing yourself and learning a metric shit ton in the process: PRICELESS

Well, I can buy a full-on remanufactured 420a head with a 3-way valve job for $325 locally... Clearwater Cylinder Head. They also sell on e-bay.

thats really cheap actually. out here u average about 180.00 for a valve job and 40.00 for a resurface.
