Ok guys I cleaned my egr valve out with carb cleaner and even bought new gasket for it, But all of it back together and still the same. Now I had someone tell me try my iac sensor so i unpluged it while on and no real difference in idle. Turned car off and started it back up with the sensor unpluged and still nothing. But this morning I went to start my car up and it would start and then die and it just kept doing that. My dad said just take battery terminal off and then put back on, Did just that and it worked just fine again but back to the same old idling weird. I was told to clean the sensor with carb cleaner but would it make any difference?? I am at a dead end with a knife at my head can someone please help me out. Give me some idea's. Only thing wrong i hear is idle... If it makes it easier text me 239-247-6987 that would be great thanks

ok. pretty stupid question, did u ever check the o2 sensor at all? and yes you can use carb cleaner to clean the idle air control. sometimes it works. but you have to make sure that before you put it back in, you test it. plug it into the harness. hopefully the engine is cold, and have someone turn the ignition on. you might see it move or just hear it. if you dont get either then its bad

no i have not checked the o2 sensor. U think that could be the problem??

When i do the key dance it reads my egr is problem, so how could it be the o2 or iac??

they both control the air fuel ratio when idle and if there is too much of either the system will try to compensate. and if the O2 is not reading correctly it will idle messed up.did you check to see if the egr solenoid is working properly?

block off the egr. if problem goes away buy a new egr valve if you want one on it that badly.

I would bet its a bad IAC valve. You can try cleaning it out and reinstalling with a new o-ring seal, but I would OHM it out first. The fact that you pulled it off while the car was idling and nothing changed is more proof as I assume you didn't plug the internal hole when you did this.

Also check the CLT sensor and front O2 sensor. One last problematic area with idle issues is the TPS sensor. Check that one as well.

Finally, are you sure you don't have a vacuum leak? Make a boost leak tester and pressurize the system at the TB.

Ok i made a video of my check engine light and sent it to guy off here and he told me my coil is bad, Something about a misfire im not sure. But my ecu is not reading the egr no more, its a different code its gives me 3 set of numbers and then the two 5's. An what i want to know can my coil cause the idle issue??? Cause now it is idling high when i put in natural all the way till i come to complete stop then it hits a 1k and sometimes goes below or sometimes goes high when siting. But when im driving and i throw in natural it will rev to like 1700 and stay their till i stop. Any idea's?? I can send you a video if you provide a email.

I read it and i understand i got next 3 days to find it out. Wheres the o2 ring at? An im not sure what hoses to check for vacuum leaks and what to check it with.

Please read my response thoroughly before reposting. Just make a simple boost leak tester and attach it to your throttle body. Pressurize the system, and listen for leaks. As far as how to make a boost leak tester, its extremely easy and can be figured out by simply googling "boost leak tester" or searching the site.

Not sure what an O2 ring is, but the front O2 sensor is attached to the the midpipe coming off the stock header. Really cant miss it..
