I was trying to put stage 2 cams in the car with fidanza cam gears. I did not know the timing is of on the gears and will be correcting this however would this still cause my problem. When the car is being cranked over it just rotates and ocasionaly pops in the headder. I swapped the stage 2 cams for the stockers and still kept the cam gears but still same problem. Can anyone shed any light on this issue???

I am not really sure what you are saying in your post - but if installing adjustable cam gears it is common sense to zero them out prior to install.

Additionally, as the markings may not be 100% accurate, you should refer to the locating holes drilled in the camshafts between cylinder 1 & 2 and ensure they are both at 12 o'clock when piston #1 is at TDC.

Thanks and I removed the fidanza cam gears and the were 90 degrees out from where they are supposed to be and now the car runs. However I am having a brake bleeding problem with my upgraded gsx calipers and brake lines to s.s braided and the car is also throwing a misfire on number 1 cyl but the spark plug, wire, and coil are good.
