#13120, "What would I run?"

Hey, I am about to revamp my car and I was wondering what I would run the quarter in with all this on my car.

75 shot of Nos
Pacesetter 2.5" catback
Flowmaster muffler
Testpipe
Pacesetter Header
Short ram intake
AFX Under drive pulley

Anything I missed that would make me go alot faster? Thanks Guys.

i'm not going to speculate on an exact time for you, but here's what i got

w/ aem cai, greddy 4-1 headers, greddy sp cat back exhaust and some unknown highflo cat, i got a 16.3

w/ those mods above AND a 50 shot of nitro, i got a 15.1

w/ those mods above and a 75 shot i didn't complete a run. DO NOT HIT THE 75 SHOT IN FIRST (i thought i broke my axel...turned out ok, but still, very bad experience) w/o at the very least having dragradials, you'll need slicks more than likely.

the thing was i had to wait to hit the 75 shot until the top of 2nd gear, and thus my times were actually slower than my 50 shot run b/c i had to drive w/o the nitro on for that much longer. w/ the 50 shot you can hit it in first and it'll be ok.

Wow, So I would actually be better off to go with a 50 shot? What gears did you hit your nos in? Did you use a button? can you get away with 60shot in first?

>>>>Wow, So I would actually be better off to go with a 50 shot?<<<<
depends what you're doing. if you get some slicks, the 75 pills would be fine (i'd assume). it only takes a few minutes to change out the jets anyways.
<<<<<What gears did you hit your nos in?>>>>>
my kit had a bunch of safeguards. when i had the 50 on there, i'd hit the arming switch and open the bottle. now the system was on and ready to go. then there was a wot switch so i had to be flooring for the nitro to shoot, but my car also had to be above 3400 rpms for it to shoot. if all conditions were tru, it'd spray and i'd lite up my tires.
<<<< Did you use a button? can you get away with 60shot in first?>>>>
it was a switch, but you could wire it into a button. the purge kit was a momentary button, so it only sprayed the purge when you depressed the button, b/c you don't want that to click on and off like the arming one should. i'm not sure, i never ran a 60. my kit only came w/ 50 and 75 combinations.
