#130981, "Identify these parts?"

I'm finally trying to assemble my car since I sold it. It's been 5 years and trying to remember where everything goes. Does anyone know where these belong? I have 2 books on putting this car back together and I can't find nothing.

they are lower brackets that bolt to the block and 2 lower 12mm X 1.75 bolts on the trans.

They bolt up from the bedplate and the bell housing of the transmission, right above the cross member. The one on the right goes on the the front side of the motor and the one on the left goes to the rear side.

Here is a picture of the front one. I couldn't get a good picture of the rear one but it is straight across from this one on the other side of the oil pan.

Don't mean to thread jack, but do we really need those? I was debating on leaving mine off for ease of removal next time. They remind me of those stupid brackets on the intake mani. Just there to be there.

Need? Not really. But they take on a little more support than those stupid intake brackets. I do keep them on the engines because I feel that it is a spot where I want the extra strength to fight the torque of launching and hard shifting.
