check to make sure everything is grounded properly, that is a common cause of battery drainage.

Please spell your words properly and use capital letters. It gives me (and many others here) a headache to try reading crap like that. I'm feeling nice so I'm going to attempt to help you.

What I think you're trying to say is that you have a new alternator and battery but it's still having problems. Right?

Your most likely culprit is dead cables. If you're having charging and starting issues with a brand new alternator and battery then my money is on corrosion inside the cables preventing the battery from being charged properly.

You can try cutting open the jacketing on the cables at the battery a few inches. If the actual copper wire is any color other than bright clean copper after the first 1/2inch then the cable needs to be replaced. It doesn't matter if you keep your terminals clean enough to eat off of, the cables can still go bad.

Agreed, or you have some kind of parasitic draw on your electrical system.

Aftermarket stereos, lights, etc... can cause this.
Check every ground point, grounding and wiring schemas are available on this site if you search.

Also upgrading to a NON optima battery will help as well. i have went thru 5 of them in 4 years. only paid for one but they only seemed to last about 9 months to a year.

For battery's i like the lightweight odyssey pc680, been running it close to 2 years and it only weighs like 10Lbs. Dry cell ftw

no its not going to help. the best thing to do is to find the short. once that is fixxed you wont have that problem anymore

Well I've also re grounded the wires too. Another thing I did was put new cables in, from the battery to the alternator and also to the fuse box to.

Well it looks like you get to have fun chasing a short or a drain.

I don't envy you.

You are going to need a simple light bulb testlight. Not an LED one.

Pull the Ground cable and put the alligator flip on the ground cable. Now take the testlight and poke the neg battery terminal. The light should light up and go out or remain an very very dim. This is due to the Radio memory still using power.

Now go pull the radio fuse and test again. you should have no light. if the test light is lit up, it is because there is current drawing through the light and that represents your parasitic draw. start pulling fuses one by one to see which one causes the light to go out. When you fin which fuse does it then you know the circuit that has the issue.

The PC680 battery is 13lbs.

Have you checked the alternator choke fuse in the under hood fuse box. It's suppose to blow when your voltage regulator goes out so you don't send too many amps to your battery. That fuse pops, the battery wont charge. Definately check that.

ah... turbo. I love the turbo, the boost, the speed, the sound.
and its all better when you do it yourself. cheaper too.

No, amperage is drawn by the battery. Voltage is pushed.

Check into Ohms law.
