So how bad is it?? Do I need to get it fixed?? My dad said it was a leaky gasket and its way to expensive to fix (1000 bucks). All that will happen is I just burn a little oil... is this true?

OK cool....I'm pretty sure it had it when I bought it - a year ago in February but it goes away in the summer. Could it just be because its so cold here lately?? Or am I just being dumb??

just take off the valve cover by taking off the coil packs, plug wires, then unbolt the vlave cover, get a new gasket from NAPA for 20 bucks, make sure to get the spark plug o ring gaskets too(4), take off the old, put on the new, bolt the valvecover back on, torque it down evenly but not too forceful(assuming you dont have a torque wrench), bolt the coil pack and wires back on and zoom zoom, no more leaky valve cover gasket and your enginebay can now be cleaned out an kept clean
