Hey guys got another question if you guys could help me out... I searched and searched but all i could find were answers on how to remove the crank pulley. I was wondering if you guys had any secrets on how to reinstall it. I took it off to change the head gasket and cant quite get it to go back on all the way so the alignment is off on the alternator belt. I am now shredding belts like hell, so if any of you guys could help me with this new dilemma i seem to be having. Thank you you guys your advice has always helped.
It is worth the money if you plan on having a 2GNT for any amount of time.
You can make your own too, get a M12x1.75 stud/rod and cut it for your needs. Get a few nuts, and thrust washers and you are set.
For reference, the stock crank bolt is M12 x 1.75 x 87.5, so if you decide to buy a longer one you will need at least that length. I have heard that GM body->chassis bolts work well for this, but do not quote me.

Wish someone would have told me that when I went to install my motor last summer. I used a torch to heat it up and proceeded to use a BFH (big f@$#%% hammer) to pound on a brand new shiny crank pulley. The damn thing ended up cracking right down the middle so I had to buy another one.

Underdrive pullies can be thrown in the oven for 30 minutes at 500*. Pull it out and throw it on the car ASAP and they usually just slide right on.
I don't know if I would do that with a stock pully because of the thin rubber "dampner" section though
