I'm going to be doing my vc gasket, oil pan gasket and atx filter change.
I did a search and no iformation about anyone using this. Permatex High Tack sealant.
Has anyone used this for bolts and gaskets like VC gasket, water pump, oil pan, atx pan, threaded fittings, hose connections and oil seals.
On back of bottle is says it won't harden therefore prevents siezing and permits easy disassembly. will not be dissolved by gasoline, kerosene, glycol, transmission fluid, brake fluid, antifreeze soultions, grease, glycerin, lube oils, propane or butane gases. It seals from -65f to +500f (-53 c to +250 c )

I like the non drying stuff just for holding the VC gaskets in place during installation and giving a little extra sealing power. Use the proper stuff in the corners.
