I am troubleshooting a severe fuel pressure issue (20 psi), and I'm having difficulty finding a non-dealer FPR. I found one at oreilly, but it appears to have a vacuum nipple on it like a 95 model.
Would this work on a 97 without hooking up the vacuum source since the 97 is fixed pressure? I read somewhere that the rising rate regulator will run about 50psi without vacuum, so I assume that would work?
I have already replaced the fuel filter, and I am awaiting delivery of a walbro 255lhp.

I have an OEM FPR from my 99 2gnt. PM me if you want it. Other than that, you may can just put a vaccum cap on the nipple and it should work. Doing it that way, what fuel pressure would you be at? I have no clue. It's a chance that you'd have to take, other than going to the dealer.
