Hey wassup guys so recently i've been having a problem.
My car would turn on without a problem and run smoothly and then one day the car didnt want to start. I would get a click and thats it. I tried a bypass trick for the starter (run a small wire from the power wire of the starter to the little black wire that turns it on) to see if it was good but when i did it it had no spark (ALL connections were good no corrosion, all connected trust me i've checked 4 times for all wires) So i got another starter and same thing thing happend from the drivers seat just a click and thats it. Then i tried to do the bypass trick again on the new starter, this time i got spark but it didnt move once again i got the click noise and thats it.
Any ideas what this can be?
It is deff not the wires i checked EVERYTHING, terminals, the ends of the wires, the wires themselves and theyre all good.

Make sure that all of your grounds are clean.
Take off a ground, sand the mating surfaces with some 400grit or so sand paper, then retighten.

Ok so i took off the grounds and sanded the connectors and the contact point. good news: it worked and the first try it turned on and then i turned it off and back on like 3 times no problem. Bad news at the 4th try it didnt budge
I'm getting tired of this electrical problem i hate electrical work lol any other suggestions would be helpful thanks in advance.

Ok so i got the car to start again and it ran smooth. Then afterwards i turned it off and i went to turn it on and it cranks and trys to start but doesnt. Everytime i turn the key it does this so im pretty sure the starter problem is done for and i have another problem on my hands. When the engine turns it trys to start but doesn't and sometimes when i let the key go i'll hear a pop (backfire).

Follow the KISS rule (KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID!)
This is what I've gathered reading your posts. The car is having a hard time starting. Sometimes it will crank, but most of the time it's clicking or doing nothing. Am I right?
Always start by checking the power source and the cables. Take the battery out of the car and have it tested. Check your cables. Go BEYOND a quick visual inspection and cut the jacketing back 2-3 inches. If the copper strands are any color other than bright copper after the first inch they need to be replaced.
Only after you've determined that the battery and cables aren't the issue, THEN worry about your starter

its your battery and the popping and hissing is prolly cause your flooding it from trying to start it so much. You might want to clean off your spark plugs now on top of that.

It definitely sounds like your battery. I would have it tested first, then I would also replace the terminals. If they are loose or a bit corroded, your car will not crank.
