Hey guys I've been trying to search but it seem no one has had this problem before but I am trying to install AEM adjustable cam gears. Right now the small dowel on the exhaust cam is facing up. The intake cam dowel is suppose to face down but I can't get it to sit exactly at 6 o'clock position so the timing marks are not lined up. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Just adjust for it when installing the belt. Tension will bring it back in line. Also note that if you have the old version of the AEM gears, the timing marks are positioned incorrectly on the gears.

Thanks that makes a lot more sense. By chance do you happen to know which AEm cam gears are the old ones and which ones are the new ones?

Grab your stock cam gears and line up the marks on you AEM gears. IIRC, the AEM marks are about half a tooth off. Just line them up to your stockers and make the new correct marks.
