Ok I already removed it but am getting ready to drop my engine back in my car, I was just curious if I am gonna get away with no fluid in my rack or do they make manual racks for 2gs. I do not want my steering to lock up or wear dangerously. Any input please. Saftey first but screw power steering. Every 100 pounds is a 1/10th

Yeah, loop the lines and you will be fine. It will keep things lubricated in the rack. I have been driving mine for a while just open with no lines at all. Maybe I'll buy some fittings someday and loop the lines.
