I put my 1998 Rs on stands this afternoon, noticed the support is rotted and around the bushings for the x memeber bar. Is there a writeup somewhere in the archives, a how to replace it.

Also, does ES sell a bushing kit that has bushings for the cross member. Top part of the support is good, its the bottom.

This must very common for 2g's besides strut towers, well mine are good with minor surface stain.

I'll post a pic soon.

If it's just the bushings, find replacement bushing.

If it's the core support itself, then your only option will be to cut out the corroded section and replace it with a good section from a parts car. This will require a Sawzall and welding.
