Interesting read, one thing I didn't notice though is any mention of what speed he was running the test at. If he was running the test at 15-20k rpms (very easy for an electric motor) then his testing has some major flaws. Looking over the site in general it also appears that this guy is purposely trying to sell the Schaffers oil products.

Personally I've had good experiences with Lucas products. I wish I knew some more specifics on this test to be able to form my own opinions, but I see too many unanswered variables.

Curious set-up and display. But I've been using Lucas in various applications with positive results for longer than many of you have been alive. And in all those years, I have never changed a lucas additive oil that has looked like that. Basically, for whatever reason, it ain't happening in a car like that.

Another thought I had was that when I worked for checker auto parts, we had a Lucas display. The display allowed you to spin the gears and see if you could get the oil to travel up the gears. For some odd reason they sent us a new display so we took the old one and cut down the cranks so that we could hook up the electric drill emoji

Full tilt on a plug in electric drill that maxed out at ~10k RPMs we never saw any foaming. Standard or treated.

I'm really begining to wonder what was up with the oils that guy was using for his tests

FWIW, lucas treated oil in their little testers looks really cool at ~10k RPMs
