i know, i know the OBX intake it junk but i got a good deal on one so i bought it. now i've read somewhere that you need to put spacers between the mount tabs on the stock fuel rail and the mountin tabs on the intake. is this true? i bolted the rail on it it does seem to be at a weird angle when bolted down but seemed toseal fine.

I didn't need any spacers, just some alteration;

But that doesn't mean that your specific intake doesn't need it, lol. Quality control and OBX; oxymorons

This is the only context where those two are even allowed in the same post.

How about this one....OBX doesn't have any quality control. Lol. Anyway, I had an OBX IM a while back that I got for free and the fuel rail was at a really bad angle too, I ended up not using it because of the poor quality. I have seen others that line up just fine. Ours must have been made on a Friday. Actually a lot o OBX parts are probably made on a Friday.
