Last night i just picked up my new air intake, its a reactive. I was wondering if the installation is as easy as it looks. I also noticed that there is another hole on the lower half of the pipe near the filter but i don't know what it is for I know it's not the one for the crank case is it important or just extra.:o Please reply with some pointers to make sure I do a good job. THANKS A LOT

I couldn't find a picture of a reactive intake to see whaty ou were talking about...
but when i installed my injen intake.. it was simple..
unscrew the hoseclamp on the top of the intake where the throttle body is.. unscrew the hoseclamp on the little hose on the engine head... pull on it a little to get it loose..
unclip the airbox, two on top, two on bottom... pull off that part of the intake. Now there are 3 bolts holding on the other half of the airbox.. take a 10 mm socket wrench to that and unscrew it. Pull on it a little after it's unscrewed and it should pop off.
Admire how empty that part of the engine is.. and picture a turbo sitting there. (that's just what i did, it's not required)
If your new pipe is shiny.. be careful of the battery stabalizer bar... i scratched my pipe on it when putting mine on.. to be safe, you can take it off, but i managed to work around it without touching it.
For that one bracket that's on the side of the pipe.. i'm sure you'll figure out how to unscrew the bolt and put it on. I had to fabricate a rubber washer cuz the wire thingy the bolt was holding was loose.(vibration sensor? that's what someone said to me).

I used to have a Ractive ram intake. it is very easy to install the only pain is ripping the stock air box out. ohh and don't worry about the 2nd bottom hole. just plug it.
