Ive heard it can cause idle problems and also make it harder to start off from a stop?

Is this true?

Idle problems, no. It will be a little differrent taking off due to the reduced rotating mass. You'll need to give it a little more gas to keep it from bogging down and stalling. The up-side is quicker revs and less rotating mass.

yeah, he said it... quicker revs = very good! I am gonna install one when i put in the clutchmasters stage 4 here in a few weeks. anyone know who can cut me the best deal on the internet for clutchmasters products? I have a few local shops i will check with also, but it almost seems cheaper to shop online anymore for small parts...

Rep, the engine revs up and down faster. So you will decell faster also. Which could be slightly detrimental to a turbo and the turbo spool down... maybe... but definately good for NA, or NOS, if I was turbo I would put on on too.
