#126558, "EGR hose to intake manifold"

My egr hose (the metal part that wraps to the head) was all messed up to I had to cut a section out of it. I was wondering if there is some kind of hose that will stand up to the temperatures for the exhaust gas to flow though. I cut it probably about three inches out, then the hose would be in place, then it goes back to metal tubing to plug into the intake manifold. Will this work?

How was it messed up that you had to cut a section of that pipe? I am curious.

It was stripped at the middle and the pipe was crushed when it was off of the car. It belonged to a guy here in town and he gave it to me for free.

Stripped? There are no threads in the middle, it is just pipe.

Sounds like he just offloaded his trashed parts to you :p

I just removed that EGR pipe. If you really want to replace it, you can buy mine. I will sell it cheap, but I need enough to at least cover shipping. If you are interested, PM me.

Built block.
Refinished head.
Tuned suspension.
TURBO.
