^^ yep thats the method to use. When buying rouge, keep in mind that darker colors are higher cut and the lighter colors are minimal cut/finishing compounds. So if you really want it to shine I would wetsand with some 400 grit then 1000, buff really well with brown/red rouge, then change the pad and use the white rouge to finish it off. Used this method on a fuel rail I did for my VW 1.8T and it looked amazing. Of course I did have to do many different grits since it wasn't polished to begin with.

If it's just dirty and you want to shine it up I've had good luck with bluemagic metal polish. If it's scratched then you need to use something stronger like the other guys are suggesting
Erik P. Official 2GNT thread Hijacker Some say that he's driven over more Covenant than he's shot, and that his grenades aren't where you'd expect them to be... All we know is, He's not The Stig... But he is The Stig's Spartan cousin!

Its dirty, reason why asked about this is because I'm selling my CAI with Aem Bypass. Already found a buyer within a few hours, this will pay for some stuff and short ram.
I'm going the short ram route for abit, save for a rebuild and turbo.
I was just looking at the bluemagic at a site, seemed like good stuff and I picked up a jar with wheel cleaner from Azone, to clean up my gst's and paint them black. I was abit slackin on it with work and my recent balljoint miss hap.
