#125171, "CEL after 60mm TB"

I put my modern performance TB on a few days ago. At first the car drove very different, Im thinking because the ECU wasnt used to so much air at that little of throttle. Yesterday I went to the track and made at least 14 passes within 3 hours. On one of my runs the CEL came on. Keydance number 24 and scanner P0123. Code is for TPS too high or too low. The TPS was replaced 12-25-08. Will there be problems with that TB or will my ECU just have to relearn its fuel maps and eventually get used to it?

lol, well it wasnt great but I managed to get some decent launches. Last year my first was a 17.5 and my best was 16.9.

Heres a link to my time on my home page.

Im obviously 740 turbo brick.

Theres a lot of room for improvement, both in my motor and my launching skills. I just couldnt get a decent launch. I tried 2k slipping the clutch so the drivetrain was taught. It bogged on launch. Tried 3k and spun almost all of first. 2.5k was hit or miss.

Yeah, you should always preload your tranny/diff. I actually launch around 5k, but it is a slip launch. With practice, I think this is the best way to go.

Try resetting the ECU.

Installing the TB shouldn't cause you any troubles or throw any codes.

Sounds like just "one of those fluke things".

95 Avenger 2.0 - Hahn 16g, DMS 8 injector setup, UDP, Big FMIC, HKS SSQV, MSD Coil & Wires,
ZEX Nitrous System, QTP Cut Out, Mandrel 2.5" Exhaust with cat delete, MP 60mm TB...and tons of Carbon Fiber

Thats what I was thinking. Maybe it was because of how hard I was pushing it at the track. Anyway I have a scangauge and cleared the code with it, and it didnt come back. Mostly I was just wondering if anyone else had similar problems.
