heh I've had gatobacks for sometime now and it still squeeks a bit. it's the belt tension that matters I suppose, I have to retighten it ever so often.

Whenever you put a new belt on it wont squeek. But after a few months I can guarantee that it wil start squeeking again. I just change my belt about every 5 months and it does the trick. I have broke 2 belts already so the changing belts thing is kinda a must for me...LOL. But it keeps it silent. And it is only the AC/power steering belt that squeeks.

put on some belt dressing this will help out big time.. it's like a glue for belts it stops them from slipping and squeaking

usually all new belts will squeek after awhile because they stretch a slight bit. now, 5 months is kinda long stretch period, but after a test drive, you should always go back and tighten the belts a lil more so that the "stretch" has been compinsated for.

tia

udp spins accesories slower, which u would think makes the lifespan of the accesories longer, but taxes them to create the same amount of power they were making with the stock crankshaft dampener pulley.

im not sure, i shredded belts, retorqued the bolt that holds the pulley on, and havent shredded one yet.
