just wanting to know what is a good sounding and looking exhaust? i want one that wont rust like in a month and looks nice. also i want a good growl and not that motocycle sounding shit. i hate ricey honduhhhs that sound like a friggin motorcycle spanking through the gears. i have heard that greddy sounds good and looks good. i also have heard not to go with pacesetter. i was looking at a 2.5 inch complete system...headers and all the way back. i dont want something too loud because of noise violation crap but i want a deep sound so it sounds like i have major balls! hehehe thanks for the help guys

1st I don't think our motors can even sound like a Lawnmower/motorcycle. I just installed a Greddy Evo 2 weeks ago. , Paid 470.00 for it. Looks greats and sounds fantastic. I actually had a girl the other day tell me it sounded sorta like a cat purring to her when it is ideling. It's definatly not too loud. Someone here has a picture of thier car from behind with an Evo installed. I will hopefully have pics up as soon as I can get my lazy ass over to develop them

yeah i heard the evo and it sounds nice. i think i am going with this one. does anyone know of a good place to buy chrome headers, and complete cat back with greddy evo ?

Well my cousin gave me his generic performance muffler and it worx great and still look great. Lotsa carbon build up on the inside of the tipe though. It's all stainless steel (anything stainless steel shouldn't corrode) and the tip is 5.25". It had a tanabe style tip on it b4 then my cousin got that monster one and I had it put on like that, the guy that welded it on put the tip to so it would be flush with the body and not sticking way out. It does sound like a cat purring like a RX7 idle also, think that's the same for all 2GNTs.

not sure, there is some mixture of pearl in the paint though... As for your car, It's all up to you, and what you like. I have see "blue frost" pearl on a white car before and that looked cool...If you can have your buddy make test panels, with your base color white, then section off the piece and do different pearls on it, so you can see which one you like.

I just got the Greddy Evolution cat-back for my 97' GS. Along with that I also bought Greddy headers. The piping I think is 2 3/8 with a 3 to 4 inch tip. Its deep sound is tight and it might be what you're looking for. My car gained a nice little pull from the new exhaust. Plus Greddy is 50 state legal.
