Hey guys, I have been meaning to do this for a while now, so here it is.
OBDKey Bluetooth OBD2 Scanner/Datalogger Review!
I wanted a scanner and datalogger for my car, and I found this on obdkey.com It supports Palm, Pocket PC, and PC. I have a Palm with bluetooth, so I thought it would be cool to get. The scangauge2 was in the same price range, but I decided to go with this because of its datalogging capabilities, and its versatility (It can be used with just about anything that has bluetooth).

When I tried to connect to it with my Palm, It connected right up with no hassles:
You can scan for codes (I don't have any ):
You can log the data on the Palm, and view it on your PC later:
Good things: Wireless (this is AWESOME!) Use with Palm, Pocket PC or Computer Powered from the OBD2 port Uses open source software (for the palm and Pocket PC anyway)
Bad things: Slow sample rate (only 3/sec) Takes a while to connect Palm software does not support full 320X480 Resolution
Overall, I think this little thing is pretty cool! I paid about $120 for it, and I'm glad I bought it. I haven't had a chance to test it with a Laptop or a Pocket PC yet, but I'm sure it will work great on those too!

Shit..Had I seen this thing before I bought the scangauge 2 I just ordered, I would have bought this instead. I just got a laptop for my b-day so this would have worked awesome.
Actually, is there any CD software to install or is it just plug and play? My laptop doesnt have a cd drive, so scangauge might be worth it stil...

There is a CD that comes with it with the PC, Palm, and Pocket PC software. I know the Palm and Pocket PC software that come with it are open source, I am not sure about the PC software. I don't know, but it might work with any OBD2 PC software .

Now that is something to look into purchasing. Looks better than pocketlogger (also used with palm). You can connect using bluetooth so no 3 foot long cable, and instead of just reading the code and whether the CE light is on, it also reads if the computer's emissions monitors are ready. I could have used that this year when I had my cars inspected.

So this is does the same obdII code/erase/trouble shoot, like the ACRON models but without the 3 feet cord.

It should! I don't have any codes to test it on, but it should scan and clear codes just fine.
