Hey, my car was acting like it had a vac leak so I started investigating. There's a sound coming from my throttle body that sounds like a leak. I put a hose to my ear to pinpoint where it was coming from, and it sounds like it's coming from the part the throttle cable hooks up to the throttle body...... What would be wrong here, I know it's not coming from the TB to IM gasket, it's coming from the grey piece that the cable hooks up to. Is there an internal seal that could be bad?? Please help.

Are you sure its coming from the vac line that goes into the top of the TB. Maybe a small crack in the line. Pull it off and cover it with your finger and see if it stops.

I will check that, but I am pretty sure it's not coming from the line. I just had a MP 60mm TB on it and there was no leak, but now there is.

Try that. If that doesn't fix it. Try another TB if you have one lying around.

They all leak to some degree around the shaft.
