hy guys,
My name is Tudor and I live in Romania. I own a 96 Sebring with 420a engine and a 604a transmission and I started rebuilding it. First came the bodykit next in line is the powertrain, presently I'm working on the brakes and suspension. For the engine I want to go with a Treadstone Turbo Kit 420a, with a AEM fuel management system, I would really like to hear your point of view. My biggest concern is the transmission. I read on the forum about the 604a transmission and it makes me restless. Please help me and tell me what I can do to upgrade my transmission, The swap with the a manual unfortunatlly is not acceptable since even presently I'm buying my parts from US. All the parts I need to chance ASAP I buy then in Europe as beeing for Eclipse and thy cost a lot (e.g. front struts - replacement parts 400$ a set)

AEM doesn't make a fuel management system for the 420A

Glad to see you are looking to build the car but it seems like you need to use the search button and research your fuel setup options, you do not simply install something and have it magically work....Do your research, if you are not aware of what companies sell these products esp. the portfueler you have a lot to learn!

Since many of you already went thru this steps I hope you can recommend me the best solutions

Reasearch Megasquirt EFI. It is like AEM, but you build it yourself. Popular even in Europe. I've seen 10-cylinder TVRs using it online. It can control air/fuel, ignition, boost, nitrous, water/alcohol-injections, anti-lag, stutter-box (launch control) - the works. Plenty of GLOBAL support for MS.
Can't really help you with the automatic transmission, though.
