P1750 is a code for the solenoid that shifts your car into different gears.

Id check the electrical connection and harness first!

I honestly have no idea. Ive never worked on an automatic transmission.

Id start by looking around the transmission and double checking each harness/plug that runs into the TCU.

I checked the Chiltons and didnt see the solenoids listed, which could mean internal.

There should be three solenoids, a torque converter lockup one, a pressure one, and a shift one. The Trans Control Unit manages all of these.

Hopefully someone else can chime in and have some more input. Sorry man, I just dont know enough about this emoji

Good luck!

tim, you actually hit the nail on the head.

either the TCU is having some kind of issues (loose connection, bad TCU) or the shift solenoid is physically sticking.

check the connectors around the transmission and the TCU, make sure they aren't corroded, loose or broken. after that check your fluid level (must be checked hot, go drive down the highway and back). if the fluid is darker than bright red you might try having it professionally flushed to see if the solenoid is just junked up.

other than that, you might need a new TCU or transmission. sorry
