#123794, "injector 4 on a 99 ECU, yellow/green or lt green/red wire off ECU?"

From what I can tell most of the wiring colors are the same across ECU years. The ECU pinouts are different of course, but I've come across a discrepancy in the wiki:

http://www.2gnt.com/index.php?d=ECU%20Pinout
http://www.2gnt.com/index.php?d=1995%20ECU

Injector 3 on a 95 is yellow/green, inj 4 is lt green/red
Injector 3 on a 98 is lt green/red, inj 4 is yellow/green

It's flipped! Anyone know if this is just a typo?

Also, what is the 99 equivalent to pin 14 (1995) ignition switch (black/white)? I don't see any ignition switch pinouts on the 98 ECU, but there is a black/white that is ECU power on the 98.

TIA x 100000000000000!

Hey EZ,

I went through every pin on my 98 once (ECU plug only) and the colors were correct for pin 7 Yellow/Green(Inj. No. 4) and pin 16 Light Green/Red (Inj. No. 3). This is according to that pin out.

I have not been able to confirm on the injector side, but I will try later today.

Right now im on call and they wont stop calling!

Anyways, good luck, phones ringing again.

Thanks, let me know when you confirm!

And as far as the black/white wire on the ECU '98, does this have power all the time, or only when IGN=ON?

I just went out with a flashlight, all of the injectors appear to have the same color :confused.

All of them have a green and white wire. The white all appear to be stripeless.

All them appear the same shade of green with reddish orange stripe.

Ill have to take the whole harness next weekend to confirm. I inspected the harness, they appear to be OEM.

Sorry man.

I've checked that a 99 has the following:

Injector 3 is yellow/green, inj 4 is lt green/red

It's just like the 95. Therefore, I think that the the wiki for 97 & 98 is possibly wrong, but I can't confirm it without that year model in my garage. Well, there's a 97 4g63 in there, but who cares about that one emoji

I'm working on the car all this weekend again, gonna fire her up tomorrow.

Still could use assistance on "what is the 99 equivalent to pin 14 (1995) ignition switch (black/white)" question...

Confirmed that injectors were wrong in wiki.

I changed it, looking at a schematic right now.

Injector 4 is Light Green/Red
Injector 3 is Yellow/Green

thnx Tek. Please change the wiki for the 97 too, as I can't edit that page. It should help 2gnters in the future
